How can a mage beat a rogue

Post by Spectois Yes, just stay away from Rogues The Rogue will always win. Every class can defeat a certain amount of classes, and it also depends on player skill or the lack thereof, lol. It really depends on the cercumstance. If its out in the open, such as a BattleGround, i dont have any problem with rogues. After their silence, blinking out of kidney shot, they SS, ice block. It takes burning all CD's, but you will be alive with plently of health if its just 1v1.

We are both around ilvl, mostly playing with 1 offensive trinket and 1 defensive i. Safeguard 1. I can't seem to get a grip on "how to sub" as a rogue. As Assa, I can go against any assa rogue so far and win most of the time. Same goes for other classes if I'm left with a 1v1 situation.

As a Sub rogue, I seem to struggle a lot. Is there something that I need to do to perform better? Like trait that I have must have, essence? I usually use either Crucible of Flame or Conflict and Strife for both specs. Same question for Fire mages. I enjoy both rogue specs and really wanted to be a sub rogue but it seems really difficult.

My mage seems to have similar issue with fire. We seem to struggle against comps with Rogues, Boomkins, Warlocks and Mages. Usually the DPS is the problem and we either get peeled off the healer or one of us just dies. If we don't win in the opener or at least first 40 sec to a minute we seem to just run and peel of each other until we die There isn't many sub videos on the website as sub is not flavour of the month. So, both of your jobs is play extremely defensive until the rogue is out of tricks, then your warrior goes on the warpath and basically 3 shots him.

Start of the fight: The mage will open on the warrior while the rogue searches around for you. By now the rogue should be on you, with the mage coming by to do his shatter combo. Pop barkskin when you get frozen by the pet The mage is the one doing the damage, so don't waste seconds of barskin on meaningless rogue-stunlock damage , and when your warrior comes out of sheep, he can intercept then disarm the rogue intervene if his cooldown is up to save his intercept cooldown.
